ABOUT
Three cozy cabins with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Check out the great water recreational activities or any other attractions the Tomahawk, WI area has to offer. Uncle Tom's Cabins were located in the city limits of Tomahawk on the scenic bay of Lake Mohawksin. Nestled on almost an acre of land, these cabins have about 500 feet of water frontage. All of the cabins provide great views overlooking the lake.
Lake Mohawksin, the largest lake in Lincoln County, is a reservoir of the Wisconsin River chain. It also has the Tomahawk and Somo rivers running into it. This is how it acquired its name, "Mo" from Somo, "Hawk" from Tomahawk, and "Sin" from Wisconsin. Lake Mohawksin is a 2733 acre body of water with 40 miles of scenic shoreline.
Lake Mohawksin offers the sportsman great fishing for Northern, Walleye, Bass, Musky, and Pan fish. The lake is equally as fun for the water sport enthusiast, or for those interested in take a slow cruise on a hot summer day to the local Dairy Queen. The Tomahawk area offers many activities in which to partake. Shopping, restaurants, parks, the Hiawatha Trail that leads all the way to Minoqua, boating, swimming, hiking, exploring, and churches of most denominations.
The cabins were the perfect place for a fun or romantic getaway. All of our cabins were air conditioned, allowed pets with responsible parents, and were fully furnished including coffee pots, microwaves, board games, etc. Each cabin had a campfire pit and docks to park the boats! Families and couples alike enjoyed the beautiful north woods at Uncle Tom's Cabins.
